It's also not possible to add lexemes in any language with an "ISO 639-1 code: novalue" statement (there are currently 10 <https://query.wikidata.org/#select%20*%20%7B%20?item%20a%20wdno:P218;%20rdfs:label%20?en%20filter%20(lang(?en)%20=%20%22en%22)%20%7D%20order%20by%20?en>), because they too have ISO 639-1 code statements which don't correspond to anything MediaWiki knows about.
