TASK DESCRIPTION Currently the Wikidata notification system sends e-mails for changes in items which are on my watchlist. Those e-mails have a subject like for example "Wikidata page Q618594 has been changed by Zildzi", include the date and the editor's summary of the change and also links to view the changes. That's all nice, but I am missing a very helpful information: As I don't know which item is behind Q618594 and in most cases the editor's summary also does not give sufficient hints, I am forced to follow one of the provided links and see the relevant information in my web browser. Therefore I suggest to add the description of the item to the notification e-mails, either in the subject line (maybe that could get too long) or in the body of the e-mail. For me the English description (or any language if there is no English description) would be sufficient, but ideally the notification e-mails could also use the preferred language from my user settings, not only for the description, but for the whole notification e-mail.
