So by "fails" you mean that mapdata isn't diplayed on a map next to Commons link in this Wikidata item page? To me it seems that item pages just aren't set to display this data (using mapframe or otherwise). If I'm not missing something in browser console then it doesn't try to load respective jsondata on this page nor on any other item page with `P3896` statement. But if I try to load this data using mapframe on some wikitext page on Wikidata then I get the following API link that for me doesn't return empty data: https://www.wikidata.org/w/api.php?format=json&formatversion=2&action=jsondata&title=Ruta+por+el+paisaje+agrario+de+inter%C3%A9s+cultural+de+Carmona.map. That's unrelated to `P3896` statements, though.
