Hello! Do you know if there have been any updates on this matter? I saw https://github.com/nyurik/OsmWikibase was slightly modified by @Yurik this year, so maybe this is still at least desired (even with all caveats)? I am studying applications that rely on Wikibase IDs to render pages (e.g. "https://scholia.toolforge.org/organization/Q23048689";) that could access 2 or more Wikibases simultaneously. Of course, one can always use a prefix in the URL (/localwb:Q42).
