TASK DESCRIPTION Since banners are optimised for desktop screens we might want to consider what banners to display when only 320px is available for the width (typical mobile screen) To explore this, let's start by importing various examples from Wikivoyage.org into the pagebanner wmflabs instance and posting mobile URLs for them to the Travellers pub so that the community can get an idea of the problem (if one exists). There are a few options at our disposal: * do nothing * a mobile specific parameter that loads a different file on a mobile screen (and an associated Wikidata property) * not loading banners at all (this will require care to ensure the img is not unnecessarily downloaded) in portrait mode (but show them in landscape) * adjusting the styling in some way. e.g. banners only * splash screen upon entering. There may be more so it would be good to get some ideas from the community. This may also be a good topic to bring up on wikitech-l mailing list to get ideas from the broader mediawiki community.
