Nikki added a comment. I'm using English. The date I was originally trying to add was Korean (e.g. `1991년 1월 1일`, which is literally "1991year 1month 1day") but it was unable to parse that, so I deleted the Korean characters, thinking that would help (removing the extra characters/words usually does help - it parses `DD MM YYYY` correctly for example) but got something completely unexpected instead. :)
