JKatzWMF added a comment. Given that we were ready to roll this out under scrutiny, this is likely going live tomorrow as part of another task. Some work done to support the Wikidata team https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T115014 is resulting in descriptions showing on nearby, watchlist and search. Rather than undeploy and undo their requested functionality - we are going to see how this goes and ask the community to report any issues noted.
