The information is stored on the clients (= Wikipedias) as well. It can be found in the `page_props` table with `pp_propname = "wikibase_item"`. That information is already being dumped (`-page_props.sql.gz`), but arguably not in a very nice format. As far as I see that data (and also the data from the Wikidata dumps) can be used for your purposes, but not sure it's good enough/ convenient enough.
