Well, our problem was exactly that the dump **was** published, but it had tons of entities missing due to an exception. And while it was logged, it was ignored for 2 weeks, which led to the situation that when we needed the dump we a) had wrong data without knowing it and b) didn't have valid data for weeks back which means reload took really long time. So I think the part that needs fixing is the part where we have logs with errors in them but nobody knows about it.
