Would indeed be great to see the label as the QID doesn't say to much.
If someone changed Q55 I would like to get an e-mail stating Wikidata page Nederland (Q55) has been changed by someuser or even better Wikidata pagina Nederland (Q55) is aangepast door someuser (so the whole subject in the language of my choice) and if those options aren't an option then Wikidata page Netherlands (Q55) has been changed by someuser (always use English label) and if the item didn't have a label it would be Wikidata page (Q55) has been changed by someuser (so just omitting the label still preferably in the language of my choice).
So tldr:
- Message in language of choice of user with label in that language followed by (QID) (so no label still shows QID)
- Message in English with label in language of choice followed by (QID)
- Message in English with English label followed by (QID)
That would be my suggestion in order of preference
