• ChangeHandler::handleChanges() -> handleChange() -> applyUpdateAction()
• ChangeHandler::applyUpdateAction(): One of: purgeParserCache(), purgeWebCache(), scheduleRefreshLinks(), or injectRCRecords().

    • PageUpdater::purgeParserCache() -> foreach titles: Title::invalidateCache()

    • PageUpdater::scheduleRefreshLinks() -> foreach titles: JobQueueGroup->push( new RefreshLinksJob )
    • PageUpdater::injectRCRecords() -> foreach titles: Recentchange::save()

Both the recentchanges INSERT and the page.page_touched UPDATE queries come from this job.
