This will probably require adding snak IDs (hashes) to the DOM, so that we can select on them. I think this is acceptable: I downloaded Q42 and Q21558717 (an item with loads of author statements – you probably don’t want to open it in the browser), and when adding a wikibase-snakview-{40 digits} to every class="wikibase-snakview", their HTML grew by about 3.8% and 5.5% respectively, which isn’t that much IMHO. (We’ll gain a lot more when we drop wbEntity from the page (over 20%), though of course that shouldn’t be used as an excuse to bloat the page everywhere else.)
