mwapi: is not a real URL, it's just something used to prefix things in queries. We could probably change it relatively painlessly - I don't think anybody uses non-prefixed version, but I could announce it and change it after that.
In fact, since we're probably getting Mediawiki ontology anyway (T171807) it may make sense to put mwapi prefix into mediawiki space. That is a more natural match I think.
it would be harder to make the prefix not sent externally, as Blazegraph basically dumps all prefixes, just in case, and it known nothing about the meaning of each. Making it parse each query and extract only relevant ones is possible it theory, but probably too much trouble in practice.
