Not contradictory, merely confusing :) Whether you should, is the communities decision. I was merely mentioning that I would be happy if there was a bit to do for humans still, because they write better bug reports.
On the other hand, considering we already have over 100k items, it is probably safe to say that there won't be that much to do for humans anyway with regard to creating items for sitelinks, so I guess, if the community so decided, it should be free to start the bots fully. There will be still sufficiently stuff to do in creating labels and descriptions, and cleaning up the sitelinks which are more complex. I expect that http://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Report_interwiki_conflictsis going to become much more lively :) I hope this is clearer now.
