Hey, Depending on the specifics of your project maybe Semantic MediaWiki is a better fit though. I recommend you have a look at it as well.
Agree. Definitely sounds like SMW (https://semantic-mediawiki.org) is what you are looking for. Later it might or might not make sense for you to switch to using Wikibase, the Wikidata software, or even have your data in Wikidata itself.
