Hey, Lydia and I have spoken and this is what we have concluded re.
translation and Tech News.

* Translation; I am going to make future summaries up until the end of July
translatable. For the first August one; Lydia and I will come to a final
conclusion as well as asking the community whether marking the summaries as
translatable is still worth it. If we get 1 translator a week until July we
will probably not continue unless we get a varying range if languages
coming. Basically, if the community translate it, I'll continue to make it
translatable.

* Tech News: this is interesting. Lydia said she does not mind putting a
development paragraph on Tech News but it will not replace the summary's
development update section as she feels having development and communities
updates in one represents the development team's feeling that the
communities should also be kept in the loop of the teams development
actively as this summary provides.

So, I am going to finish off the summary shortly and will send the usual
email and onwiki notifications with the note that the summaries are going
to be translatable. See you all shortly then.
