Personally, -1. I don't think it would be a good idea, mostly because of the "controversial wikis" you cited. If we include them in the "other sites" sections, it may appear to people who don't know how Wikidata works that we are, in a way, endorsing those wikis. Let's keep the "other sites" section to the Wikimedia projects who have only one instance, and let the Wikidata community decide which wiki may or may not be connected through statements to our items.
