Hi, Thanks for sharing your concerns. Here's the list of actions that we thought about, we're of course open to suggestions.
- the extension is checking if the user is blocked globally, on the local Wikipedia or on Wikidata. For these users, the Bridge is not shown. - the feature adds a tag on Wikidata, which will allow the community to monitor edits coming from the Bridge in particular - the Bridge feature will be rolled-out slowly and carefully, one Wikipedia after the other, so we can monitor its effect, learn and adapt if necessary (restricting to autoconfirmed users on Wikidata could be an option) - the first version includes the ability to edit only one datatype (string), more datatypes will come one after the other, which limits the possibility to mass-vandalism - in case of emergency, the Bridge feature can be turned off one or several Wikipedias easily and quickly, without causing incidents on the existing infoboxes I hope that helps!
