It's possible to switch these en masse using the wikibase-cli tool,
which does support Julian dates -
https://github.com/maxlath/wikibase-cli/blob/master/docs/write_operations.md#rich-values
- so you could always add through QuickStatements and then do a run to
update all your recently added statements into the new calendar model.
