Hi everyone, Help Panel <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Growth/Tools/Help_panel> has now been enabled on WIkidata Beta <https://www.wikidata.beta.wmcloud.org/wiki/Wikidata:Main_Page>, and we’d love your help testing it.
What’s the Help Panel? It’s a small module designed to support contributors (especially newcomers) by offering quick access to relevant help pages while editing or browsing Wikidata. It’s part of the Growth features developed by the Wikimedia Foundation to improve onboarding and retention across projects. The Help Panel currently appears in read mode across most pages. Admins can adjust where it shows up via Community Configuration <https://www.wikidata.beta.wmcloud.org/wiki/Special:CommunityConfiguration/HelpPanel> . Want to test it? You can enable it in your Beta preferences under "Newcomer features". We want to understand how useful the Help Panel is in the Wikidata context, what help links should be included, and whether it’s worth enabling on WIkidata proper.
