Hi Randy, In terms of importing video I should actually want to shoot, what type of video cam (specs) should I be looking for...I'm thinking of something that's dedicated to being a video camera.
We are having a good time with the Sony Hard Drive Handy Cams<http://www.engadget.com/2006/01/05/sony-dcr-sr100-handycam-hard-drive-camcorder/>. Not using tape saves us hours, just plug it in to the computer and copy the movie file over. Be careful of battery life specs though..
