Hi Leigh, For your easy importing/uploading request - while you're in the "add to this video" wizard you can login to your YouTube account and see your clips from that account. at that stage you can select as many clips as you want, and import them to the Kaltura. This process does not affect your bandwidth as it happens between Kaltura's and YouTube's servers. You will only have to wait a couple of minutes for a conversion process to end - and you're ready to go. Sure, it's not "all-in-one" as you wished, but on the other hand - it's not double time of uploading :)
