Hello all,

I was exploring the wiki and I found two projects which seem to have a fair
amount of overlapping content. Specifically the Caribbean Secondary
Education Certificate - Information
Technology<http://www.wikieducator.org/Caribbean_Secondary_Education_Certificate_-_Information_Technology>and
the Information
and Communication Technology <http://www.wikieducator.org/ICT> projects.
Both projects have been updated in the last couple months, and so seem to me
to still be alive, but don't give any indication of the other project.

First I just wanted to make sure that both projects knew about each other,
so that collaboration and re-use of content could happen if they didn't.

And second, I was curious as to what the precedents are for (considering)
merging two similar projects. Do some similar projects stay separate due to
conflicting interests or directions? Do most people try to merge any and all
similar content?
How might similar projects work to share information? Do they copy content
from each project into the other (and so end up with duplicates)? Do they
try to set up a heirarchy of pages for the similar content and then build
separate learning modules around them? Have there been cases of one project
subsuming itself into a different project?

As a new participant of the WE community I'm happy to hear any stories or
comments about how the community functions.
