Thank you for your reply.

That was my sister's question she lives in Yemen and the net isn't that good.

I guess she'll use it online anyway.

Warm regards

Rima

Hi Everyone,

Another way, is to install Open Office on your computer, and then write up the
document in OO, and save it to a .txt file in mediawiki format, and then copy
and paste it into a wiki page, when you're online.

Dear Rima,

WikiEducator has a feature called print-to-pdf. This is quite significant
because you can compile the things that interest you into a pdf file for
offline teaching for instance. Why do you want to use it offline with your
students. Both Nellie and Peter have involved a larger numbers of students in
her school running an online course in her school to teach how to use
WikiEducator. Of course if limited internet connectivity isn’t available and no
computer lab, offline would be the way to go and you could work with one
computer, projecting on to the screen or, as you ask, print the Newbie
Tutorials and teach them. It is possible!

Cheers,

Patricia
