hello everyone i'm a real newbie to twitter and i'll just share my two cents worth. I checked out some blogs and websites I liked and followed the creators of these. If they didn't have a twitter link on their blog, I typed their name into the twitter "search engine" and arrived on their twitter page. Here, there's a lovely block of photos and list of tweets from people following them - who generally have the same interests as you. Feeling brave I started following some of these people (by typing their name into the search on twitter/or just clicking on their photo ) and now hey presto ! I'm getting lots of useful info and links hot from the "press" !!
For the moment I'm not tweeting ( internet shyness :)) - just enjoying the reads and getting used to a tool I didn't know at all. Hope this helps a little bye for now Helen in Nice (twitter : helen100463 - if you want to look at some of the people I'm following who are mainly in efl/esl) Selon Maria Droujkova <[email protected]>: > On Sat, Mar 7, 2009 at 6:35 PM, Alison Ruth <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Hey Randy > > > > An overview of twitter is available here -> > > http://www.commoncraft.com/twitter > > And of course you can follow them -> http://twitter.com/CommonCraft > > > > As for who else to follow, well, the sky's the limit (not quite, there's > > only about 6 million people on twitter).
