Dear Jorge
Many thanks and likewise we can give the same back to you. You all are what makes WikiEducator so inspiring and exciting. I don't know much about your networks, but I am pretty sure just as many other countries have to, you would have a Mexican facebook where you could advertise a Learning4Content workshop and create a great stream of followers, making WikiEducator Mexico (WEMEX) a country initiative, bringing on board educational institutions, Ministry of Education and alike by targetting an intended audience, creating awareness and building capacity. What you may find inspiring is the fact that the Island State of Samoa in the Pacific is preparing to start their own WikiEducator chapter, and with the start of the Mexican country page, you have set the stage to get going, while the four of you are the driving force behind the scences. This could become big in Mexico and will take a lot of work, dedicated effort and time but it is so rewarding! We are here to help, practically as well as technically. So don't feel shy to take us up on it. We will help where we can. What are the possibilities do you think for bringing Mexican institutions onboard, or at least running wiki skills workshops within educational institutions - the numbers don't have to be huge, just interested and motivated folks.... <smile> Can we 'engineer' some ideas here...? - Randy On Tue, May 5, 2009 at 1:59 PM, Jorge Vidals <[email protected]> wrote: Wayne, Randy, Patricia, Nellie ... and WE partners This is just a lilltle seed of what you have sown.
