Hi Everyone, We've just received notification from Jim that he has installed a Hebrew localisation for WE :-)
On behalf of OERF and the WikiEducator family I'd like to express our thanks and gratitude to Jim's tireless commitment and technical support. This is an important prototype for WikiEducator being our first language install for a "right-to-left" language. http://he.WikiEducator.org/ <http://he.wikieducator.org/> We're very fortunate to have a dedicated team in Israel under the trusted leadership of Nellie, one of our Community Council members who will guide us through this process. We should take a moment to reflect on the power of the open source software model. None of this would have been possible without the language localisations available using the best wiki software engine in the world -- Mediawiki! Some extensions used by the WikiEducator installation may not be translated yet -- I hope that our WikiEducator colleagues in Israel will help in translating these extensions as our contribution back to the Mediawiki community.
