For their collaborative group project, student groups took on the role
of a PR firm whose client was WikiEducator. This was the first time we
have used scenario-based learning for the final project. We have used
collaborative writing and WikiEducator in previous classes for more
traditional "papers".

Next time the course is offered, there will be an orientation to
scenario-based learning and more "management" oversight, as some of
the presentations don't reflect the scenario. A learning experience
for all of us.

Here are the presentations they produced.

The course is Computers and the Internet in Society, a general
education course offered through the department of Computer
Information Systems at DeAnza College, and provides transfer credit
for UC and CSU. These are community college students, many are not
English-speakers, and many have educational experiences in other
cultures.
