Hi Randy and Peter,
I'm not a techie re: wiki code, but I have managed previously to get a
"blank" tagline. The trick is to leave in the name of the variable, but give
it a blank value, as follows:

|title = [[SR_and_CA|Peter McCrory's MSc in Sport and Exercise Science]]
space on WikiEducator.
|tagline =
|pages = [[SR_and_CA|Home]] {{vbar}}
[[SR_and_CA/Introduction|Introduction]] {{vbar}}
[[SR_and_CA/Abstract|Abstract]]{{vbar}}[[SR_and_CA/Outline|Outline]]

I made the change to Template:
