Thanks for all of the kind words. WE is a perfect place to do what we
do and the support of the community makes it SO much easier than it
might otherwise be. It took me a while, but I now cannibalize all of
the resources developed by the WE community. I have incorporated
things like tutorials, editing tips etc right into my course. I
borrow code from folks wholesale and plop it right into my pages and
this makes the pages pop a bit without necessitating a deep knowledge
of the underlying computer magic!

My past students tend not to remain active in WE. Wayne M. asked them
to reflect at the end of their experience, so we do have a growing
collection of reflections: http://www.wikieducator.org/Wiki_reflections
I'm not sure how I can motivate them to return. My hope is that in 2,
3, or more years when they have their own classrooms, they will return
and either use the resource, or contribute. It's unclear how many may
already be using the lessons. We established a feedback page, but it
is ......well, blank :)

FLOSS Manuals sounds interesting and I'd like to learn more.

All the best!
