Hi Jackie, This is a great initiative (I've also posted a copy of your invitation to the main WikiEducator list).
Is this a global offer or is attendance restricted to US educators? For example, if a Kenyan educator were available to attend one of the face-face-face workshops -- would they qualify for the $1,500 stipend to promote free text books back home in Kenya? The OER Foundation is keen to invest time and a little funding to support the development of a wiki version of the Open Textbook training workshop based on the Learning4Content model. I would like to scale up knowledge sharing about open textbooks around the world to provide free online training to educators on how to become an Open Textbook Advocate. Thanks for the post to our lists -- WE look forward to helping and supporting the international growth of Open Textbooks in education!
