Do you have WE pages that are being accessed with mobile devices?

Are you now or do you have plans for learners to use mobile devices in
your courses? How will this work in your course?

Is cost of access an issue? If not, why not? If so, what can be done
to keep costs down? Could donations or partnering help with covering
costs?

The introduction of the Moodle mobile interface opens many new
opportunities.

I'm looking into the types of material being presented for access and
interaction using mobile devices.

A colleague recently returned from Sierra Leone where "everyone" has a
mobile device and we were discussing the possibilities for educational
uses. We are getting conflicting information about cost for using
mobile devices for learning. Audio / telephone service is affordable -
everyone walks around chatting on their phones. Can the phone
conversation model be the primary delivery format for now?

We would like to continue to use WE as the repository for the primary
text materials for courses. However, web access is pretty limited, so
we are exploring ways to expand the learning opportunities by any
means available. Mobile seems like a logical one.

WikiEducators are always a wealth of information, so we would
appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks
