Hi Everyone, The untapped potential of OER lies in the remix -- the freedom for educators to reuse and remix educational content through a variety of different delivery technologies.
The OER Foundation has set up a proof-of-concept to demonstrate how WIkiEducator content could potentially be reused in a variety of different delivery platforms (with lots of help, foresight and willingness to experiment from our Lead Software Engineer). Thanks Jim for showing us working examples and allowing us the freedom to experiment with the power of OER reuse. We've set up two examples where OER resources on WikiEducator could be reused in your favourite learning management system or blog. The purpose of these examples is to act as a catalyst for ideas and to generate feedback for designing a suitable user interface on WikiEducator to implement these features. You will find more information on this proof of concept here: http://wikieducator.org/OERF:WikiEducator_remix_experiments Please use this wiki page for feedback. Working together we can make OER futures happen!
