Dear Gene, You are very well known to me, reading your comments and sharing your thoughts on the WikiEducator main list.
I command you for not giving up and coming back into taking the course especially now that you have offered to help with content development to Wayne. Believe me, you can do it, like so many 1000s of people before you have managed this process. It is not so difficult once you really understand how it works. So here it goes: As you are on the discussion forum, you must have a WikiEducator user id with which you log in. NOT your password, that you keep to yourself, but when you click on the link I am going to give you below, please log in and all and register yourself for the next course: http://www.wikieducator.org/Learning4Content/Workshops/eL4C45/Register using your USER ID, the one you log yourself in with by mentioning it under Wiki ID. Please ensure it is exactly done in the same way you have initially registered yourself with, so capital letters or small letters are important, because it will bring up your page on WikiEducator (WE) and we can take it from there. You will be added to the participants list on the workshop homepage (see below) and you should check if you were successful registering yourself, which you are if your name appears at the bottom *after* the table. The facilitators will input it into the table. You then only need to follow the instructions. Read carefully and ask many questions if you don't understand. Of course you can come back to me, but your facilitator for the next course is Benjamin Stewart or Nadia El Borai. Ben is the lead facilitator and can be reached at [email protected] Do this soonest, as instructions are going to be posted soon that will reach you two fold: 1) via the Moodle Discussion forum directly coming to your email inbox 2) they are going to be posted on the eL4C45 workshop hompage at http://www.wikieducator.org/Learning4Content/Workshops/eL4C45/Home i recommend you bookmark this page and put this on your desktop? Do you know how to do this. It is easy. Just open the page. When open go to the toolbar and open the tab called "File" - the first tab on the toolbar at the top. You will see a sub-tab called "sent to", go there and choose "Desktop". The system will now sent the page you have open to your desktop. If you check your desktop, the icon for the eL4C45 workshop is at the tip of your fingertips on your desktop. Hope this helps you for now.
