It is interesting that with paper textbooks you can reference a specific page to guide users to specific content; but with OER textbooks users need to be linked to a module or chapter which then requires the user to use their browser’s FIND option under EDIT to find the specific content. With all the meetings on OER coming up, hopefully some discussion will address this issue. As modules and chapters of OER text materials can be rather lengthy. Maybe a “link to point” could be set up within modules/chapters around key content items.
