Hi Everyone, More news on the open planning meeting, this time from Australia:
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/higher-education/university-of-southern-queensland-plan-for-free-online-university/story-e6frgcjx-1226006531939 I had a chuckle with the media's ability to enhance the facts ;-) -- Just to confirm that the University of British Columbia is not an anchor partner nor will "Wiki-education" (who's that?) be awarding degrees. -- However all registered Tertiary education institutions who care about sharing knowledge freely, are most welcome to join us. I suspect the Australian got confused with the BCcampus pre-meeting seminar which is also based in British Columbia. Remote participants for the open planning meeting can register here: http://wikieducator.org/OER_for_Assessment_and_Credit_for_Students/Meetings#Virtual_participants Cheers Wayne -- Wayne Mackintosh <http://wikieducator.org/User:Mackiwg>, Ph.D. Director OER Foundation <http://www.oerfoundation.org> Director, International Centre for Open Education, Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand.
