*Open Education Week @ Athabasca University*. The UNESCO/COL Chair in OER, Dr. Rory McGreal, presents a noon hour web-cast discussing the importance of OER in distance education. This web-cast will feature a panel of promoters and developers of open educational resources who will be discussing research, opportunities, challenges and new ideas on this topic. Panel speakers include Dr. Cindy Ives, Dr. Terry Anderson, Dr. Martin Connors, Steve Schafer, Rachel Conroy, Tony Tin, and Colin Elliott. The new OER KnowledgeCloud repository will be showcased in the presentation as well.
