I have just received an invitation to participate in the Unesco OER forum to take place in Rio this week. Unfortunately the message came in late and I had scheduled previous commitments which will prevent me from attending. However, I visited the site that was linked in the message to check out the details and was surprised to find out that the Unesco logo appears there with a different license (CC BY ND)
http://www.unesco.org/new/pt/brasilia/communication-and-information/ict-in-education/latin-american-open-educational-resources-congress/#c311024 than the one on wikieducator and the Paris Unesco site (CC BY). http://wikieducator.org/UNESCO_OER_logo_translations http://www.unesco.org/new/en/communication-and-information/access-to-knowledge/open-educational-resources/global-oer-logo/ My question is whether the same global logo can appear on different sites with a different license and go from a more open license to a more restricted one, depending on the country.
