I'm building a speech recognition-based reading and pronunciation tutor. Actually, I have been doing so for ten years but a patent recently expired so I can start giving it away if I can raise enough money to pay for the servers. I already have generous support from Google Summer of Code and the One Laptop Per Child contributors program, but still need help from an Android specialist, and money to collect the exemplar pronunciation recordings and graphics necessary to provide sufficient and engaging instructional content appropriate for all ages and experience levels.
