He holds a doctorate in Distance Education on *"Datamining applications in Distance education"* from a open University in India. in addition to being an expert Geologist and a seasoned Wikieducator, he is a pioneer in the field of open learning! He has more than 23 years of experience in formal and distance education. He also served at the Commonwealth of Learning as Programme Officer.
