Her major is Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). She wrote her MA thesis on the use of communication strategies in online interactions. She has been using web 2.0 tools and researching their impact on learning and teaching. Professionally, she teaches university students English as a foreign language, and trains teachers on methodology and instructional technology. Her area of interest are cross-cultural communication and communities of practice, instructional technology, network-based language teaching, language acquisition, pragmatics, and action research. Furthermore she is interested in these professional development areas: Methods of Teaching, Computer/Internet Skills, Soft Skills, Research Methodology, Assessment Techniques.
