WikiEducator UPE Winner for April 2014 <http://wikieducator.org/File:KubkeAvatar.jpeg> Passionate about Science and Education, M Fabiana Kubke<http://wikieducator.org/User:Kubke>is a research scientist and university biology teacher at the University of Auckland<http://www.fmhs.auckland.ac.nz/sms/staffct/staff_details.aspx?staffID=6D6B7562303033>. She graduated as a biologist at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Further she did her Masters and PhD at the University of Connecticut. After 7 years working as a post-doc at the University of Maryland she relocated to Auckland New Zealand to join the University of Auckland where she continues. She maintains a blog at Building Blogs of Science<http://buildingblogsofscience.wordpress.com>which also shows up in Sciblogs.co.nz <http://sciblogs.co.nz/building-blogs-of-science/> and in Talking Teaching <http://talkingteaching.wordpress.com>. She is one of the co-founders of the Citizen Science New Zealand<http://popscinz.wordpress.com>project, and volunteers in the olpc <http://laptop.org.nz/> project.
