I'd like to work out some way of advocating the "missing article" lists to potential new contributors. On en:wp:

It reminds me of how and why I got hooked on writing an encyclopedia. What would be a good way of advocating these to n00bs? "See this list? Write a coupla paragraphs with a coupla good references and it'll go in."
