This is just to bring to your notice that,GOA is one of the states in
"India i.e.Bharat" toady. The language of this tiny state is KONKANI,since
ever. All the communities irrespective of cast, creed and religion speak
KONKANI.

Hello Damodar,

There is already a wikipedia project (in incubator) for Goanese Konkani.
It is available here http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/gom

Can Wikipedians take active part in helping the Goan Citizen in their task
> ahead?

In fact I suggest since you are a Konkani speaker (and know about
the importance of Wikipedia in Konkani) please be part of this and guide
more Konkani speakers towards this.

I will connect you with few people who can help you to get start with
contributing to Goanese Konkani
wikipedia<http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/gom>
.

Thanks
Shiju
