Hello all, To have a proper preparation for Wiki Loves Monuments in September 2013, we started already in January...
Earlier this year I spoke in the IRC channel with one of the organizers (?) and suggested that I am willing to help out with the technical infrastructure (upload wizard and CentralNotice) as I did for Wiki Loves Monuments. Nothing heard from any since... > 1) Dates you would like Wiki Loves Earth to take place. In the Netherlands Wiki Loves Earth is organized from 1st May until 30th June 2014. > 3) Criteria While we have also other nature, forests, etc, we have chosen to accept this year only pictures of the national parks of the Netherlands, without exceptions of generic species. > On our side, the international team will be happy to help you with the > following: 1) technical coordination. Most of tools that were used for Wiki > Loves Monuments last year will be adapted for Wiki Loves Earth The technical infrastructure for the contest in the Netherlands is already almost ready. As the various editions of countries have different time schedules and different focus, there is no generic upload wizard infrastructure. As said before, I can help with the upload wizards and CentralNotice.
