Hi, First of all, the international team would like to say sorry for the delay with announcing international winners this year. We do understand that you expected us to announce winners earlier and waiting till December probably did not meet your expectations, and we are sorry for that.
There are multiple reasons of this delay, the two major ones are trying to get national winners from all countries even if they were late (it almost worked, but unfortunately we did not manage to get Indian winners and local organisers ultimately asked us to proceed without them) and limited resources of the international team (many members did not have enough time - for example, two of the team members got married this year :) ). We hope to do much better in 2018, and we will publish more information on plans and next steps in January. The international jury has just finished their work and the list of top-15 photos is already finalised. We are now preparing communications (jury report, blog post, permissions for social media) and we will announce international winners very shortly. We are currently discussing the date and time of the official announcement, we will give it as soon as we decide on it.
