Terminology around monuments can be confusing and variable in different languages. There is a thesaurus of European Heritage Network that can be useful [1]. I think the term that adjusts it more appropiate is "monumental heritage", but each Wikipedia must follow its own naming conventions.

This gets confusing fast, so let me explain with the following examples: 1) The "White House" is a US National Heritage Site in Washington, DC. 2) The "Witte Huis" is a Dutch National Heritage Site in Rotterdam. The term National Heritage Site should be available as a generic concept, and then per country as a [[National Heritage Site (Country name)]]. The term "Rijksmonument" is now titled as page "Rijksmonument" in the English Wikipedia, but it should also be redirected from [[National Heritage Site (Netherlands)]]. The same holds for pages about each country. Ideally, per participating country, we should have pages on wikipedia for each [[National Heritage Site (Country name)]], as well as a concept page [[National Heritage Site]]. In Dutch this would I suppose not be [[Nationale Rijksmonument]], but something like [[Nationale Erfgoed Object]]. Following this logic, the White House should be listed on the English Wikipedia as [[National Heritage Site (US)]], and the Witte Huis as [[National Heritage Site (Netherlands)]]. In the Dutch Wikipedia, the White House is a [[Nationale Erfgoed Object (US)]] and the Witte Huis is a [[Rijksmonument]].
