Well what I noticed was that some of the users that uploaded on flickr last year, this year uploaded throught commons. The users on flickr mainly upload there because their pictures are allready on flickr.Another special thing is that last year 2500 pictures where uploaded with flickr this year only 250 (in the netherlands both).
