No way. It's perfectly valid. I just tried and uploaded http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ééé.jpg as expected, without issues. I also tried with "[[É]].jpg" (the brackets are illegal in the names) and I get a warning saying that the name has been changed to "--É--.jpg" with three buttons, and them indeed fail. It proceeds had you originally chosen 'Ignore any warning', though. I have opened a bug at https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33357 Although I'm not sure if that's exactly what you experienced or a different one. _______________________________________________ Wiki Loves Monuments mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikilovesmonuments http://www.wikilovesmonuments.eu
