Dear Matthew,

Today I called the Dutch newsagency ANP, a important source for alle dutch
newspapers. Unfortunately they had no interest in Wiki Loves Monuments
despite the new app, the wonderful input of thousands of volunteers, the
worldwide scale of the project, the meaning of sharing knowlegde and images
form around the world.

I am wondering if it would be helpful if we could quote Jimmy Wales.
Sometimes the media get more alert when an important name is mentioned.
Maybe you've already considered this but maybe not.

In the Netherlands it's the third time Wiki loves Monuments takes place and
the journalists from ANP and some other newspapers tell me it is because of
the reptitious character of the event that they don't want to cover it in a
newsstory.

If you think it is a good idea to quote Jimmy Wales on the meaning and
impact of Wiki Loves Monuments, is it possible to let me know today and
send me a quote? As we are planning to sent out the press release on
thursday or not later than friday morning.

Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks a lot!

Kind regards,

Els
